One of Madison's best kept secrets is the Vilas
Park Zoo. Entry is free and the zoo is run on
donations. It isn't the scale of a Detroit/San Diedo
zoo, but it is hard to argue with seeing polar bears
for free on a whim!
It is located in Vilas Park, next to several B-Cycle
stations. If you happen to live in or visit Madison,
I highly recommend you take some time out of
your afternoon to check it out!
