The largest draw of this Chinatown adventure for me was
the potential to be reunited with Lamein Noodles. The
dish that was 65% of my diet during my time in Shanghai.
Over the past 6 months I have grown nostalgic for the food
I had over in the "Paris of the Far East".
Said nostalgia was replaced by the memory of how much
I did not like the food and subsequently lost a considerable
amount of weight from not eating while I was in China.
Lamein is only good in the context of China. In America,
where better food is readily available, it's not so great.
