NAHBS: Independent Fabrication.

Beautiful Detailing and a fairly successful
paint and graphic scheme.

Street Art: Austin.

Alfalfa.

'Til Death Do Us Part.

Down on the Street: Austin.

Austin has some really great cars with some
extremely enviable character.

I even saw a Yugo and I am not even making
that up.

Gary Fisher.

The Man. The Myth. The Spats.

Mellow Johnny's Employee Lockers.

These things have a lot o character. I guess when
you work at a bike shop co-owned by Lance, you
get a metric crap ton of free stickers.

And it shows.

Eric's Fish Tacos.

Eric was a chef before he worked at Trek so I will
emphasize that these tacos were awesome.

Not "good considering it was prepped in the basement
of a bike shop". Not "good for being cooked on a bike".

These tacos were, pardon the phrase, the tits.

Gary Fisher Collection: Fish Taco Transport.

A small group of Engineers, Designers and
Project Oner's from Trek decided to make a
last minute gift to Gary for the Handmade
Bike show in Austin. The guys at Mellow
Johnny's set up a really classy party for
the presentation of the bike. Eric, his brother
in-law Matt and I assembled the bike and
prepped the food for cooking and then
eventually Eric went on to cook the fish
tacos for the party.

It is a beautiful little piece of kit that Gary
seemed really stoked about.

The tacos were awesome as well.
