Bike Trainer+Open Exposure.

I got this awesome Lime Green bike trainer for Christmas
so I can crush in any weather (like BirdMan).

Cool picture of me working on my cadence.

Only 3 months until spring hits the city. I got to get ready.

My Christmas.

My Christmas was infinitely more adorable than your
Christmas.

That, I can guarantee.

Lady.

Lady got Diabetes for Christmas.

That's not a joke, my dog has Diabetes.

Papa got a flat screen.

My Papa leapfrogged into the 21st century today when I
drove down to Ortonville to replace his analog tubed TV
with this 40" Samsung LCD TV my family got him for
Christmas.

Now he can watch the Tigers get his hopes up only to let
him down at the last second, in HD!

Trapped in the Closet (Part 9)

It's been nice having a closet for the last 5 days.

Suitcases are over-rated.

Rochester Hills Crushin'

I forgot my toothpaste in Clinton Hill.

Luckily, I still had some left over Chinese Crest.

Formica counter tops.

Stella gets her boots on.

Met up with Stella last night and driving around with the
stock summer Dunlops got pretty treacherous. This
morning I drove over to Callahan's to pop the winter
wheels/tires on. Under heavy breaking on loose/icy
surfaces, stopping distances are dramatically reduced
and ABS activation all but disappeared. Traction under
acceleration is confidence inspiring, but with the traction
control turned off, I can still get her to step out a little
for hooning/being 16 years old.

She likes that I made them gold for her.

She's undecided on the Honda center caps.

Andy.

Took some pictures of Andy tonight for a project Ben is
working on.

Some of them came out alright.

Safety Goggles.

I found some shop glasses at work that
looked 45 years old. I took them home
for the weekend so I could take pictures
of people wearing them against white
walls with tungsten lighting.

Homemade Pop Tarts.

I am a firm believer in karma. Case in
point: I help this young lady spackle and
not 3 days later we make baked goods.
Home made Pop Tarts even! Hope you
enjoyed the process pictures.

Strawberry with Rainbow Frosting.

Obviously.

Spackle Lesson.

Christie had some holes in her walls and
I had a wealth of information concerning
the theory and application of spackle.

Now Christie's walls are hole-less and
ready for paint.

Going to art school was clearly a wise
decision.

No Use.

Crying over spilled wine.

Luckily, that wall is getting painted pretty soon.

Composition.

The room where ceilings bend and dust
lives.

I kind liked the shapes this environment
and objects made.

Took a picture.

Bed Stuy.

My new home. BedStuy.
Famous for:
Spike Lee Joint "Do the Right Thing"
Notorious B.I.G.
Racial/Social Unrest.

G Thang.

But uh, back to the lecture at hand.
Perfection is perfected, so I'ma let 'em understand,
From a young G's perspective.

Movin.

This wall reminds me of that Star Mural
off of Michigan Ave in Detroit right next
to Slow's BBQ across from the abandoned
Train Station.

The yellow is almost an exact match.

!REWARD!

?Who uses a stock photo/clip art of a generic dog?

?!Really!?

Photo Adventure.

Photo Adventure: Bed Stuy, Clinton
Hill, Fort Green Edition.

A little bit of texture, a little bit of
grid and a dash of DJ Mayonnaise
Hands.

Hood Rich!

Got a quarter tank of gas in my new E class
But that's alright 'cuz I'm gon' ride
Got everythang in my momma name
But I'm Hood Rich.

Reading at Earshot.

My third and final Poetry Reading in the
city took place in Brooklyn at the Rose
Bar. Keegan finally shared his stuff with
us and it was pretty decent, even if his
nervousness was detectable through
his prose.

His dad came out and Keegan dedicated
his set to said father. It was cute and
his dad was pretty rad.

Pretty rad.

MoMA

When you go to the "Top of the Rock"
you get free admission to MoMA. Had
a rad collection of industrial design
which included an original Willy's
Jeep. Mom got hyped about Picasso
and Matisse. There were two exhibitions
for Tim Burton and Bauhaus.

No Damien Hirst though.

Skyline: Part Deux

View of Manhattan from the Top of
30 Rockefeller Plaza.

Top of the Rock.

Took Madre up to the top of 30 Rock where
there are three observation levels on 78, 79
and 80. Took a few shots of the surrounding
environment.

The skyline was decent, but the coolest part
of the experience was being higher than Jack
Donaghy.

General Electric.

29th Floor.

Mom came into town to hang out for the weekend.
We are staying at a hotel roughly 20 yards Herald
Square/Macy's. We are staying on the 29th floor
of a Hilton that sells Dr. Pepper in the lobby. By
far the most Luxe (and by Luxe I mean there are
not factions of rats and pigeons engaging in battle
in the wall inches away from where I sleep) thing
I have done on my stay here in NYC.

Their TV had Inglorious Basterds on Demand.

and this view.
